Churches for worship has been a place for people getting together to find their salvation in heart and communicate, and has been expanding reach by tradition and word-of-mouth. Today, modern technologies have helped churches in letting people known and getting audience involved. While in this hard time, live streaming is a way to offer people worship and religious services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The question goes to how to start a live streaming at churches that have people participate from home. This blog will offer solutions for two applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Online streaming at church with one camera shooting<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    With only one camera shooting at the speaker in the church, you fix the camera, and then connect its SDI cable with\u00a0a video encoder<\/strong>\u00a0which encodes and compress the source video. With configuration on network, the video could be streamed to CDN (Content Delivery Network) or streaming platform, i.e., Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Wowza with low-latency, loss-less transmission. This could have your audience clearly see what happened with higher resolution compared with phone\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      With one camera shooting at the speaker and other cameras shooting at the audience in site in the church, you can fix the cameras from different angle, and then connect their SDI cable with\u00a0corresponding video encoders<\/strong>. With connection to network, the videos taken could be streamed to production center\/console for post-production or edits \u2013 you can switch the videos for checking as well. Then they can be played on CDN or streaming platform, i.e., Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Wowza with low-latency, loss-less transmission. You can even\u00a0stream to multiple platforms at the same time<\/strong>. And your audience could watch with phone, pad or PC.       Also live streaming among different centers could be made easily. Deploy an encoder and a decoder in both of the main church and the branch church each. The camera signal of the main church is collected through SDI connected to the encoder, and the encoder is connected to the network and transmitted to the branch church with SRT protocol. The branch church uses the decoder to receive and decode the audio and video of the main church to the displaying screen. The branch church also uses the encoder to transmit to the decoder in the main church via SRT protocol, and decodes and outputs the audio and video of the sub-church to the display screen, thereby realizing two-way audio and video interaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      When it come to the joint intercommunication between a main church and several branch churches, or even multi-camera audio and video collection, it is necessary to use production center in the church for transmission. Each church center is configured with the same encoder for transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The use of SRT protocol for remote transmission requires a public network address on either end. For multiple churches, it is recommended to equip the public network address in the main church. All the branch churches\u2019 signals are transmitted to the main church for broadcast production, making sound audio and video interaction across different places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
