Kiloview is expanding its family of Network Device Interface(NDI)-compliant solutions with the introduction of its new NDI Recorder<\/a>, which joins the company\u2019s growing ecosystem of IP-based hardware and software video encoding, decoding, conversion, switching and streaming technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launch of the NDI Recorder<\/a> is the latest milestone in Kiloview\u2019s ongoing product roadmap to continually develop AV over IP workflow technologies. The new product is an independent recording system for video archiving and backup, ensuring all NDI sources are recorded separately and maintained in synchronization with other data. The recorder can support up to 20 channels of NDI sources in any resolution or format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of the company\u2019s technologies, including the new recorder, are designed to give content owners and A\/V media professionals an end-to-end resource for cost-effectively hosting, conducting and managing remote production and live streaming applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Network Device Interface is a standard protocol for ultra-low latency, lossless transmission. It enables interactive control over an IP network, delivering and receiving high-definition uncompressed video at the lowest latency among other NDI-compliant devices on any network or in the cloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiloview first entered the NDI market in 2020 with its MultiView Player<\/a>, multi-screen playback software capable of handling an unlimited number of NDI streams with up 16 streams displayed in a single multi-view window layout. User viewing options include multi-screen split display, picture-in-picture (PIP) or multi-window playback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The software allows easy connection with smartphones, computers, NDI-enabled encoders, cameras, and production systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiloview has since rolled out its line of NDI technologies: H.264\/HEVC encoders\/decoders, control panels, Media Gateway, NDI converters, KiloLink Server<\/a> and the new NDI Recorder.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Kiloview technologies are based on an \u201cAny In, Any Out, Anywhere\u201d concept, with the ability to support any type of video input from baseband SDI or HDMI signals, HD, 4K or IP content.
