E3 Firmware Download(Latest)

Release Date: 2024-04-19 Version: 1.00.0034

New features:
Added the capability to insert null packets into ts-udp and ts-srt streams.
Fonction optimization:
1.Fixed an issue that videos with decimal framerates can now be correctly displayed in decoders like VLC.
2.Resolved the problem of framerate doubling when the D350 decoder pulls streams of E3.
3.Optimized the SDI noise issue.
4.Changed the default color space from BT601 to BT709.
5.Modified PCR PID to match the video PID.

Security update:
Upgraded nginx to address potential security vulnerabilities.

Risk Advisory:
1.The protocols UDP, HLS, SRT, and NDI-HX do not support G.711a/u audio encoding. Using G.711a/u audio encoding may result in muted audio during stream pulling.
2.The protocols RTMP/RTMPS do not support H.265 encoding. Attempting to stream with H.265 encoding will prompt an error on the webpage.
3.During recording, rebooting the device or unplugging the USB drive may result in corrupted recording files, rendering them unplayable and potentially affecting the deletion of old files in loop recording mode.
4.Modifying the time zone before or during recording will not change the start and end time of recording files. To use the new time zone, please restart the recording process.
5.Repeated device reboots may lead to the loss of CIFS configuration for network storage or failure to mount.
6.Enabling the loop deletion of recording file will prioritize the deletion of old recording files in the corresponding directories (HDMI/SDI/MIX).
7.Make sure the disk space is sufficient when there's no size or duration limit to the recorded files, or set the recording strategy as 《stop recording when space is insufficient》.
8.High CPU usage may cause the streaming service to restart when repeatedly switching resolutions of signal source or modifying encoding configurations.
9.When inputting video sources in interlaced format and selecting line doubling for de-interlacing, slight jitter may occur in the picture.
10.In previous versions, the default storage multiple for null packets in ts-udp was x1.5. Devices upgraded from old versions may retain this default value. If not require d, the ts-udp parameter can be set to not insert null packets.
11.It is recommended to set the maximum null packet insertion threshold to 50MB (which is probably not exceeded by the majority of users) when setting to insert null packets in ts-udp or ts-srt. Otherwise, network bandwidth or device performance may not be able to handle it.
12.Downgrading from this version to older versions may result in incompatibility of configuration files, leading to non-encoding problems. If this issue occurs, it needs to be resolved by restoring factory settings.

Release Date: 2024-02-07 Version: 1.00.0029

New Features:
1) Added scheduled restart feature to the system maintenance module.
2) Added preset configuration feature to the system preset module.

Bug Fixes:
1) Fixed the channel mapping for AAC audio encoding from 1/2, 3/4 to 1, 2, 3, 4. Users can now configure multi-channel encoding more flexibly.
2) Fixed the issue that prevented the recording module from being enabled in version 0027.
3) Fixed the problem with network ping functionality where some domain names with IPv6 couldn't be pinged successfully.
4) Fixed the issue with saving SRT configuration when the stream_id name contained the "%&" symbols.

Release Date: 2024-01-23 Version: 1.00.0027

New Features:

  1. Added an option for Deinterlacing in encoding (effective for I-frame rate input) to address the frame rate drop issue when converting I to P:
    • Field Weave Deinterlacing: Combines two fields into one frame, resulting in stable video but the frame rate is halved.
    • Single Field Deinterlacing (Bob): Keeps the frame rate unchanged, but may cause slight image jitter.
  2. Added multi-channel audio encoding feature, changing the maximum encoding channels from 2ch to 4ch.
  3. Frame rate setting options have been revised to: Full Frame Rate, Auto-Half for over 50fps, and Custom.
  4. Added support for the Korean language.
  5. Compatibility with the correct display of fractional frame rates (inputting fractional frame rates will display correctly, hardware upgrade required).
  6. Added network configuration functions on the small screen (display IP interface on the small screen, press confirm to enter settings).

Bug Fixes:

  1. Fixed the issue with the incorrect display of VLC frame rates in encoding.
  2. Changed the translation of SRT handshake mode to Connection Mode.
  3. Fixed the color distortion bug with RGB video input.
  4. Fixed the issue where UDP multicast would fail abnormally upon device restart.
  5. Fixed the issue with streaming on the Telegram platform not working.
  6. Fixed the issue with the Ablecenter software freezing when pulling RTSP streams.
  7. Fixed the audio noise issue during stream pulling.
