Upgrade Warnings
We have made the latest firmware available on this page for your download and use. However, as development is still in progress, please be aware of the following potential issues with the current firmware version. Kindly consider the following factors carefully before proceeding with any of the firmware updates:
1. When the device is connected to Wi-Fi, connecting a USB headset will cause the Wi-Fi connection to disconnect. Your hardware might not be able to establish any Wi-Fi connection until you perform a power reboot.

Current Remedy: It is recommended to insert the USB headset first and then connect to the specific Wi-Fi.

2. Continually plugging and unplugging the video source from the P1 during encoding will cause audio and video transmission to be out of sync.

Current Remedy: Avoid removing SDI cable once encoding starts.

3. Due to the hardware CPU performance limitations of the P1, the current bonding algorithm will significantly increase CPU utilization. It is recommended to adjust the encoding bitrate to below 6Mbps.

Current Remedy: Please ensure your birtrate setting is within 6Mbps.

4. After upgrading to this firmware version, the device will no longer be compatible with the older version of “Kilolink Server Free” or “Bonding Server”. (Should you need to download to the older version, please contact our technical support staff for further assistance)

5. Should your device stop responding / during the upgrade process, please reach out to our customer support immediately. (*we have a small number of users experiencing anomalies that upgrading the firmware would result in the hardware malfunctioning, and resetting might not remediate the issue, please reach out to our support immediately )
