Kiloview Launches U4 IP Video Dock, Bringing Professional IP Video into UC Meeting and Display Workflows

We are excited to officially announce the launch of the U4 IP Video Dock, a compact IP video decoder and output dock designed to bring professional IP video into UC meeting, display, and monitoring environments.

As IP video becomes increasingly common across production and enterprise environments, we recognize that many meeting and display systems are still largely disconnected from IP-based workflows. U4 is designed to close that gap, making professional IP video easier to integrate into existing communication and AV systems.

Built on our years of expertise in AV-over-IP technologies, U4 reflects our continued focus on extending the practical use of professional IP video and making AV-over-IP workflows more accessible across a broader range of real-world applications.

Bringing IP Video into Your Existing UC and AV Workflows

With U4, we enable professional IP video sources to be used seamlessly within existing UC and AV setups. The device converts network-based video streams into USB, HDMI, and DisplayPort outputs, allowing easy integration into established meeting and display systems.

It delivers USB UVC/UAC output for plug-and-play use with platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and OBS. At the same time, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs support up to 4K60 for room display, presentation, and monitoring scenarios, enabling simultaneous output from a single IP video source. This allows IP video to be used directly across UC and display environments without requiring additional software or system changes.

As a long-standing contributor to NDI-based workflows, we have built strong capabilities in IP video transport and interoperability. Engineered as a hardware-based decoding solution, U4 also supports major IP video protocols including NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, UDP, RTP, and HLS, ensuring compatibility across a wide range of workflows.

By removing the need for additional software tools, virtual camera drivers, or complex configuration steps, U4 enables IP video sources to be used directly across UC meeting and display workflows. With support for up to 100 presets, API access, and centralized control for smarter room integration and management, U4 enables faster deployment and easier coordination.

Its compact plug-and-play design allows it to fit seamlessly into a wide range of environments—from meeting tables and behind displays to classroom lecterns, auditorium equipment racks, and mobile workflows—supporting BYOD and BYOM scenarios while keeping AV setups simple, clean, and flexible.
