Kiloview Wins Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Award 2025 for Empowering Macau Grand Prix with Innovative NDI Solution

May 28, 2025 — Kiloview is proud to announce that we have been honored with the Live Event Streaming – China award at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards for our outstanding contribution to the 71st Macau Grand Prix, one of the world’s most prestigious motorsport events. Our advanced NDI-based AV-over-IP solution played a critical role in modernizing the event’s entire video infrastructure and delivering a seamless broadcast experience.

Held from November 14 to 17, 2024, the Macau Grand Prix attracted over 100,000 spectators and posed significant challenges in broadcast scalability, real-time collaboration, and infrastructure reliability. The traditional baseband video system in use could no longer meet the event’s evolving needs—it lacked the flexibility, scalability, and stability required for modern live production.

Overcoming Infrastructure Challenges

Video transmission had become unstable, legacy cabling was inefficient, and distribution to key areas—such as the main control center, commentary booths, and security offices—was difficult and slow. These limitations hindered the ability of production, broadcast, and safety teams to collaborate in real time.

Kiloview’s NDI-Powered AV-over-IP Solution

Kiloview addressed these challenges head-on with a full-scale AV-over-IP deployment built on the NDI protocol. At the core of this transformation were our Kiloview N60 NDI Converters, delivering ultra-low-latency 4Kp60 HDR video that replaced traditional HDMI transmission with robust, flexible IP workflows.

To handle complex signal routing, Kiloview NDI CORE MAX provided centralized, large-scale switching and stable signal distribution across the entire venue. For recording and post-production needs, the Kiloview CUBE R1 was used to capture multiple streams from CORE MAX, ensuring reliable playback for referees and clean archives for media.

In parallel, Kiloview Multiview Pro enabled intuitive multi-channel monitoring for production teams, while Kiloview KIS (Kiloview Intercom System) facilitated smooth on-site communication between all departments. KiloLink Server Pro ensured remote management, firmware updates, and fast troubleshooting from a central interface.
