SDI / HDMI to RTMP SRT and NDI protocols video encoders

Video encoders are widely used in video transmission field. A live encoder is required in live broadcasting because the original video cannot be transmitted over the network as its large gigabytes. One-minute video can occupy several gigabytes of space. Video encoders are about video transmission which are implemented by software or hardware applications. A sdi or hdmi encoder broadcasts IP output over protocols of RTSP, RTMP, SRT, NDI protocols.

Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) is a network control protocol designed for use in entertainment and communications systems to control streaming media servers. The protocol is used for establishing and controlling media sessions between end points.

Real-time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) designed for use in entertainment and communications systems to control streaming media servers. The protocol is used for establishing and controlling media sessions between end points.

Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) is an Internet transport protocol initiated by the SRT Alliance jointly created by Haivision and Wowza. It is an open source, free and flexible application specification. Its performance is as good as a proprietary protocol and can be used between different products. 

Network Device Interface (NDI) is a royalty-free software standard developed by NewTek to enable video-compatible products to communicate, deliver, and receive broadcast quality video in a high quality, low latency manner that is frame-accurate and suitable for switching in a live production environment.
