Thanks to NDI network interconnection, traditional SDI/HDMI video signals can be reliably transmitted to IP-based on-site production equipment, such as various software and hardware production equipment, video mixers, image systems, etc.
The video is running on ethernet, no need for extra infrastructures. You will not be annoyed by complicated equipment deployment and maintenance costs.
NDI is working via multi-channel transmission. Namely, when you are taking a video and encoding it into an NDI stream, everyone in the same local network is able to check it on their end devices individually.
What’s more, when they are taking different videos and encode them, you can check those videos all at once. The encoded video stream is compatible for all common production systems.
NDI sends the encoded video data through ethernet rapidly. At the same time, it’s working well for encoding the raw data from your camera due to its high efficiency. Generally, the transmission latency from end to end is around 100ms.
What you see is what your camera takes. Using NDI, you will have good experience in local production, media interaction, and real-time playback, etc.
Kiloview U40 4K NDI encoder receives 4K P60 HDMI or USB input, and convert it to full NDI stream effectively.
As it is trasmitted via Ethernet, updating to NDI local production procedure will be easy and convenient as no wires are needed.

With an aluminum alloy cover, our U40 has better thermal conductivity. Meanwhile, it is designed with heat dissipation holes.
U40 supports PTZ control thus it is able to control the PTZ camera through the serial port (232/485, etc.) or network.
It is useful when receiving the PTZ signal sent by the NDI production system or NDI decoder. The control is quick and accurate.
